This new plate was designed to decrease the amount of stress the starter housing is subjected to, and therefore will prolong the life of your starter. This item is an OFFICIAL Rotax part and is legal to run for all forms of Rotax Event. The new bracket also requires (2) new bolts (which are slightly longer) and are now included with the bracket.
